WDA-3-10 Write Once Optical Disk Autochanger is used to store largeamounts of data on 12-inch optical disks. Up to 50 disks can be loaded inthe unit to give a maximum capacity of over 163 GB. Two WDD-3-10 diskdrives can be used for better performance, faster throughput, and easymaintainability. Supported disks include: WDM-3DAO 2.182 GB (12-inch) andWDM-3DLO 3.276 GB (12-inch).WDA-3 offers an average disk-to-disk swap of seven seconds. The unitis controlled with SCSI commands issued by a host computer. A transferrate of 300 KB per second can be sustained. The unit works with 1024-byteraw transfers using a common workstation SCSI architecture characterdevice driver.
